Abstract

The construction of knowledge within a technological education environment consists of several aspects for the comprehensive training of a professional. In this way, the use of teaching benches provides the student with simulated contact, within a controlled environment and with the supervision of a teacher, of some in professional life activities. The consumption of electrical energy in the industrial environment to drive fluid pumping is relevant in the energy matrix, demanding energy efficiency actions. Therefore, this work develops teaching equipment whose purpose is to facilitate the training of energy efficiency applied to fluid pumping systems in industrial environments that require changes in flow. To this end, a teaching bench was developed that simulates a flow control plant, using a small single-phase motor pump, flow meters, and electrical magnitude meters. The results showed that the bench adequately reproduces the theoretical concepts and operational characteristics of such plants, practically enabling teaching-learning, with the student actively, in a safe and controlled manner.
