Abstract

This article presents a detailed analysis of the control loop modeling of a 5-level full-bridge inverter, through the application of a Proportional-Resonant (PR) controller associated with a Proportional-Integral (PI), aiming to enhance the performance of grid-connected switched converters. The modeling was conducted using two software tools: MATLAB, for controller parameter design, and PSIM, for simulating and analyzing the performance of the inverter with the designed control loop. Therefore, the analysis of the results demonstrates the effectiveness of the resonant controller in regulating the inverter output voltage, highlighting its capability to reduce switching losses and improve the energy efficiency of the system.
