Modelagem de Um Conversor CC-CC Buck Baseado na Célula de Comutação de Três Estados Operando nos Modos de Não Sobreposição e Condução Descontínua

Power electronic converters are inherently nonlinear time-varying systems. Considering that small-signal modeling of such structures allows for representing them as linearized systems around an operating point, it becomes possible to use classical controllers such as proportional-integral (PI) and proportional-integral-derivative (PID). In this context, the present work introduces the modeling of a dc-dc buck converter based on the three-state switching cell (3SSC) operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and non-overlapping mode, where the duty cycle is less than 0.5. The modeling is based on the pulse width modulation (PWM) switch method. The derived dc and ac models are properly validated in the time and frequency domains, enabling an adequate representation of the converter.
